Fire Hydrant Friday

In the downtown area, a group of local artists have started to paint the fire hydrants! They asked for ideas from local elementary school students and the ones they have started are phenomenal! Glendale is now the only city in Arizona that has artistic fire hydrants! I decided to turn Fridays on the blog here into Fire Hydrant Friday to show off the adorable and very artistic canvases.

Glendale Day at Camelback Ranch

Glendale residents got special discounts for this day, and no one could have asked for better weather!

A jazz band played,

 they hosed down the sweet smelling grass (and dirt),

 all in all, a gorgeous day.

Spring Training

Happy first day of Spring Training!

The Cactus League here in Arizona is out in full force. I hope you come visit and bring your sunscreen and camera!

I thought I would extend Love and Chocolate Week and add a picture I took last night while walking around the chocolate affaire. In the far left of the picture, you can see the famous cheesecake cones. I bought some legitimately dangerous dark chocolate truffles from here.
