Fire Hydrant Friday

I must apologize for my lack of a FHF last week, but I have a good reason: my sister was going into labor! I am a newly minted auntie!

But, I still missed a hydrant day, so I thought I’d present an extra special one this Friday!

Poor little hydrant, not long for this world. You’ve only been painted a couple months and you sprung an apparently irreversible leak. You are to be uprooted and taken out this weekend.

But that’s what happens when you leak precious water in an Arizona summer. I’m glad I got your portrait before you had to go.
